Prom Week

I spent a little over a year working with the lead designers of Prom Week. I helped develop an Authoring Tool to allow the developers to quickly author interactions between characters. This includes animation and textual responses to social game plays by the player. I designed the user interface and helped code it in Javascript.

In the beginning stages of the game, I designed temporary backgrounds and worked on character animations to match the desired authored emotions. When the game took shape, I authored my own interactions / reactions and playtested the game continuously to assist the developers in finding bugs.

Prom Week was a IGF Finalist at GDC 2012, invited to E3 2012, and a finalist at IndieCade. I am proud to be a part of such a great accomplishment by the game design graduate students at UC Santa Cruz.
