UX Design

Tools Make the Toolbox

I proficiently use the following software to assist in my design process.
Pre-Production
Pre-Production

From sketching on paper to working with wireframes and flows in Balsamiq - designs are organized and throughly presented to stakeholders.

Prototyping
Prototyping

Comfortable with software such as Balsamiq, Axure, Invision, POP, Flinto, and GameMaker Pro for professional, quick to create prototypes.

Production
Production

Use of the Adobe Suite to create high-quality mockups. Comfortable slicing assets and working hand-in-hand with developers for accurate implementation.

My Goal Directed Design Process

Research
Research

Discover business and user goals to clearly define product requirements.

Wireframes & Flows
Wireframes & Flows

Use requirements and user persona to create an optimal flow, with rough wire-framing to map general features. Present and iterate as necessary.

Prototype
Prototype

Quickly build out prototypes based on approved flows to fine-tune minute user iterations.

Low-Fidelity Mockups
Low-Fidelity Mockups

Clean lines and paint wireframes to build out look and feel to decide on color palette if a style guide is not already in place.

High-Fidelity Mockups
High-Fidelity Mockups

A final polished layer on the previous step. After a few minor iterations adjusting for changes in copy and stakeholder feedback, the product design is complete.

Asset Implementation
Asset Implementation

Instead of just handing the mockups to the developers, I work hand-in-hand for optimized implementation.
